Heavy metals are named those with a density> 5g / cm3.
They are powerful toxic agents.
They are not degraded, they bio- accumulate and remain toxic and poisonous for a long time.
Their toxic effect in water is due to their ability to form compounds with enzymes of organisms causing inhibition of their action.
Their main heavy metal toxicity is based on the following:
Hg > Cu > Zn > Ni > Pb> Cd > As > Cr > Sn > Fe > Mn
Limits EU for the content of heavy metals in water:
ITEM SYMBOL MAXIMUM LIMITS
Arsenic As 10 µg/l
Barium Ba 1 µg/l
Cadmium Cd 5 µg/l
Lead Pb 10 µg/l
Nickel Ni 20 µg/l
Selenium Se 10 µg/l
Mercury Hg 1 µg/l
Copper Cu 2 µg/l
Chromium Cr 50 µg/l

Another source is the pertussis vaccines, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B, influenza, containing thimerosal, methyl-mercury content 49% (Davidson et al., 2004). A vaccine dose gives children 12.5-25 mg Hg per dose.

Cadmium and its compounds: Pigments, paints, plating, polymers.
The toxicity of heavy metals represents an unusual but clinically significant medical condition. If the therapeutic approach of toxicity is not recognized, or treated incorrectly, can lead to significant morbidity and even death.
Heavy metal toxicity is involved in almost all the organic systems, particularly the Central Nervous System (CNS), the peripheral nervous system (PNS), the hematopoietic, renal and cardiovascular system. To a lesser extent, lead toxicity can affect the osteo-muscular and reproductive systems.
The influence in organic systems as well as the severity of the toxicity vary depend on the relative heavy metal in each case, the individual's age and the level of toxicity.

In e-asis the analysis of heavy metals and minerals is carried out by the method of multi-elemental analysis of hair (MAH) through spectroscopy - X-ray of the hair sample whom may concern.
Advantages of the method
The hair absorbs micro and macro-elements as it’s supplied through its follicle. Along the hair we have recordings of the elements level at different times of one's life.
One of the key components of hair is cysteine, containing sulfhydryl groups - SH (sulphydryl) and bounds the elements and heavy metals, resulting in enzyme function inhibition.
The hair contains up to 50 times more elements and heavy metals compared to blood and urine.
The hair analysis is a powerful guide for parents who are looking for treatments for ADHD, (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and many other diseases associated with exposure to heavy metals.
- Analysis of the current situation, recording the levels of heavy metals in the body (spectroscopic hair analysis).
- Removal of heavy metals in the body by using appropriate detoxification supplements and a systematic special diet.
- Analysis of the condition of the body, after the sequence of heavy metal removal operations (detoxification).
Spirulina, high in natural nutrients is particularly active in the elimination of toxins and heavy metals which settle in the connective tissue. The phycocyanin contained in Spirulina helps control inflammation and reduce the risk of developing malignancies.
Chlorella stimulates the body's natural defense mechanism to fight bacteria and viruses, and strengthens the immune system. Chlorella is of high absorbency due to its cellular structure. It consists of cellulose and it is very difficult to digest. This "locks" the heavy metals and other harmful toxins and impurities, which are discharged naturally through our gut.
Wild Garlic is effective in purifying the blood, stomach and intestines. It exempts the body from the persistent residues of metabolism, destroys and removes poisonous substances, from the nervous tissue especially, very useful for autoimmune diseases.
Coriander is in generally beneficial to the nervous system. It used medicinally as a herb that helps soothe the digestive system. It has the ability to pass the blood-brain barrier and cleanses the tissues of toxins, medication, chemical substances, heavy metals.
Zeolite is a new substance which acts like a sponge. It absorbs and eliminates poisons and heavy metals, to a great extent. Zeolite molecules have a negative charge and after they have been ionized, they bind the positively charged molecules of free radicals.
Poor quality feed causes health problems to our animals. In order to learn what kind of diet suits your animal, balanced in vitamins and minerals, you should consult a veterinarian.
A multielemental hair analysis of your dog, your cat or your horse can be really useful. According to modern concepts, the amount of macro and microelements in the animal wool reflects its state of health. The owner of the animal can cut a small sample of hair from the back of its head and give it for analysis.
After appropriate treatment of the sample through the roentgen fluorescent analyser, 18 metals are identified.
By the results of the analysis the veterinarian will assess whether there is a need to make changes to the animal's diet or enrich it with the appropriate nutritional supplements. It is necessary to be mentioned that minerals and vitamins are added to pet food. However the needs of each animal may vary, depending on their age and their physical condition.
Therefore, we should be aware of the personalized dietary needs of our pet.
In fact, each dog has its own metabolic characteristics and mineral metabolism. The “Element Portrait” of each animal depending on breed, sex and age. By analyzing a puppet's wool, possible mistakes in its diet may be avoided and thus, future diseases will be prevented.
Early trace elements analysis will help to create a basis for a proper diet of your pet. Now in e-asis you can do analysis in the wool of dogs, cats and horses.
